Princess Grey Fur,
Little Bit and Midnight live in Las Vegas with Joe
Vaughn. None of them gamble.
Princess was a lovely, stately lady with a taste for milk and
eggnog. (specially if it's spiked at holiday time).
She's waiting for Joe at the
Bridge... LittleBit....isn't.
When Joe found her cowering near a dumpster with several
children tormenting her, she was tiny. Joe picked her up
and she was just a little bit of a thing...she grew.
And grew. And grew. She weighs about 17
pounds now, but is very timid; loud noises terrify her
and it takes her a long time to get used to strangers;
when she does finally trust you, however, you've made a
friend with a purr like a lion and a sweet disposition.
Midnight is
another cat Joe rescued. Mostly feral, Midnight
took a long time to trust. Joe fed him for several
weeks before he could get close to him. Finally, in
desperation he started putting food closer and closer to
the open front door...finally putting some inside and
waiting close at hand to slam the door when Midnight
came far enough in. It worked, mush to our
surprise and Midnight spent the next few weeks in a
cage, getting used to being a house cat...and getting
used to having other cats near that he wasn't allowed to
fight. He's finally settled in and though the other two
aren't exactly buddies, they all live in (mostly)
harmony now. |
