Yellow Ajah Quests
June 2005
Pinned against the
wall with a thin needle, is a yellow parchment. Studying it closer there's a
faint scent of herbs.
Task 1
Healing physical wounds and ailments are one of the Yellow Ajah primary
missions, but we also find the need to heal mental illness as well as aiding
troubled minds. Since you may run across a troubled person in your journeys and
no Yellow may be available, we would like to see how you'd ease someone’s
problems. Seek out a troubled person and mail the Yellow Ajah your notes of the
meeting and your efforts to aid the person.
Task 2
While the Brown Ajah are the renowned researchers, the Yellow Ajah always have
their eyes open for new healing weaves and look for new ones to potentially
research. There are common healing weaves taught in the tower that will cure
wounds, blindess, poison, and contagion. We are interested in what weaves you
have learned on your own, or what you think the Yellows should be studying.
Please submit you healing weave (or idea), describing required flows, what it
heals, and how you use it. Qps will be awarded on merit, but at least a
paragraph is recommended.
Task 3
It is said the way to a man's heart is through his stomach. In addition, food is
needed for those in recovery. The Yellow Ajah would like a copy of your favorite
dish from your home country. Please include what is needed for the dish and how
to cook it. Mail the Yellow Ajah the recipe.
Task 4
Weaves are not always an option for healing people for a variety of reasons:
lack of knowledge, fatigue, or unwillingness of the patient. Therefore, the
Yellow Ajah would like all novices and accepted to be aware of the methods for
healing common injuries without the one power. To show your studies, submit a
letter of how you would handle the following: a simple fracture, a head wound,
and profuse bleeding.
Task 5
Recently, Accepted Chala had a near fatal encounter due to a snake bite. While
healing her, we found our stores of snake venom to be quite low. To aid us
replenishing our stock, please find as many different kinds of snakes, and bring
us their scalps. All scalps must be turned in at one time to receive credit.
**Notes and reports for Task 1 – 4 may be mailed to the Yellow Ajah. Turn in
items for Task 5 to a Yellow Ajah member, or, if none are available, turn in the
items to Corele, and submit a log to the Yellow Ajah, including the turn in of
the items as well as a log of the rooms where the snakes were found.
Remember we do not want to see some sloppy work. Rewards will be given to those
who work hard.
