Definition of Jedi:
A Jedi is an individual who studies the Jedi Arts, and applies the principles of the Jedi Way in his or her life.
Definition of Jedi Arts:
The Jedi Arts are the physical and mental skills of a Jedi practitioner. The Jedi Arts are based around the ideals and philosophies espoused by the Jedi Way. The Jedi Arts include martial arts, meditation, contemplation of the Force and it's uses/applications, mediation skills, the history and lore of the Jedi, and continual advancement of the Mind and Body.
Definition of Jedi Way:
The Jedi Way is the collective goals and philosophies of the Jedi Order. It is a life path lived every day in every way. One does not bend the Jedi Way to themselves, but instead becomes one with the path, integrating it into their very being. The Jedi believe that all living things are a part of the living Force, they deserve respect, and in turn we should treat all beings as we would seek to be treated ourselves.
Characteristics of a Jedi:
-Jedi study and explore the Force as a whole and in its applications.
-Jedi train their mind staying mentally fit, keeping their mind sharp and focused.
-Jedi are physically fit and practice Martial Application. Continually training their body.
-Jedi are honorable. In this Jedi do what is necessary for the greater good, using violence and/or manipulation as a last resort.
-Jedi dedicate their entire lives to the preservation of knowledge and the service of others.
-Jedi are compassionate, they seek to respect and care for all life.
