John Robert Finley was born in 1874 at Corinth, Mississippi area, the son of James Harrison Finley and wife Sarah Ellen Web. In 1902, Johnny would marry Mary Jane Copeland, the daughter of Solomon Copeland and wife Louisa Crane of Corinth. In 1907, Johnny would move his family to a farm at Ward, Arkansas in White County. They would live out their lives there and Johnny would die in 1937 and Mary Jane in 1939. They are both buried in the Grissard Cemetery at Elpaso, Arkansas. |
