Hi All. I'm sending to Jim under separate cover four photos taken Wednesday while Nancy, Harry, Darleen & I were together in Manhattan. It was a glorious Spring day with a "high" near 80, which is unusual this early in NYC. (We concluded that the Wootens must have brought the warm weather from Osceola)

Darleen & I met Nancy & Harry at their hotel at 51st & 7th around 4:30. >From the hotel we walked over to Rockefeller Plaza and saw The Sea Grill where Darleen & I had dinner with Sophie & Fran several weeks ago. We then walked through the Rockefeller Center promenade, which was beautifully decorated for Spring. The first picture, of Darleen, Harry & Nancy, was taken there.

>From the promenade we crossed 5th and went into Saint Patrick's Cathedral, which was elegantly decorated with flowers and portraits in memory of Pope John Paul II. The second picture is of one of those portraits. It's a little blurry even after some post-processing, for which I apologize. (Hand-held w/o flash)

After spending some time in Saint Patrick's we left and walked uptown on 5th to the "new" FAO Schwartz in the GM Building. We toured" FAO Schwartz briefly and from there walked over to Madison and started uptown again. Somewhere around 61st Darleen successfully hailed a cab, which we took to East 76th where we dined at Caf, Boulud - a wonderful (IMHO) Upper East Side "neighborhood" restaurant that has gained widespread recognition for its excellent cuisine & service. The third picture is of the four of us at Caf, Boulud.

After dinner, we walked back over to 5th and then toward midtown along the edge of Central Park to the Plaza Hotel, where we had drinks at the Oak Bar overlooking Central Park South. The fourth photo was taken by our server at the Oak Bar.

As with Sophie & Fran, I believe I can speak for all four of us in saying that we had a delightful afternoon & evening together, reminiscing and catching up! Harry took pictures with his digicam as well, and he may forward some of them to you, Jim, to add to my collection."
