This meet is an 8 team invitational in the True Team Format. Each team is
allowed three entries per event, and every athlete scores. First place
earns 24 points, second place earns 23 points, down to one point for
twenty-fourth place. MITCA, the Michigan track and cross country coaches
association, sponsors a Team State Championship Meet using this format. Team
depth as well as individual excellence is rewarded using this scoring system.
