PRO-JUNIOR TOURNAMENT REQUIREMENTS

1. The tournament will be called the Falls-Long Pro-Junior Tournament in honor of Don Falls and William (Bill) Long, who began the D.P.G.A. Junior Program in 1951.

2. The tournament will be held at a D.P.G.A. course, selected by the Executive Committee, each summer after the school year is completed.

3. Each team will consist of a professional and three juniors from the same club.

4. In lieu of a professional, a manager or adult member of a club may play.

5. The juniors must meet the requirements of junior golf play and be under age 18 as of the tournament date.

6. Play will be at the option of the host club. There will be no handicaps in this event.

7. Junior girls will play from the ladies' tees.

8. Female professionals must play from the regular tees.

9. Local club rules will apply.

10. A club may enter more than one team.

11. There will be only one prize, a plaque to be displayed in the winner's clubhouse.

12. Any profits from the tournament will be contributed to the D.P.G.A. Scholarship Fund.

13. Team play ties will be decided by sudden death from hole #1.

14.Only amateur golfers of D.P.G.A. member clubs, which have paid dues by the time of the event, can enter.

15.All players 14 and under will play from the forward tees.
