David Graham
Pittsburgh Singer/Songwriter

Dave at Saint Wendelin's Carnival 2002

Hi! I'm Dave, a singer/songwriter that hasn't quit his day job (computers and databases) in the Pittsburgh Area. I am husband of one, and father of two. I play for my church, and various community events.

My music is bluesy-folk, and I am usually compared to Jim Croce, John Gorka, or Lyle Lovett. I like songs that have a good beat, and some humour.

On stage I am a strummer, at home I often fingerpick. I write secular and Christian music, and enjoy performing either. I was surprised the first time a Christian song was complimented by bar patrons, but now it seems a common thing.

I'm over forty, and losing hair, so I don't expect stardom ( I didn't say I don't HOPE for stardom, I just don't expect it. ) Some of my musical friends and acquaintances are:

My wife, Laurie, also has a web_page , showing her fibre arts projects.

I am a Den Leader for my Son's Cub Scout Pack (669) .

Most years I perform and run sound for Friendship_Folk_and_Flower_Festival .

My sister Jayme and I run a Coffehouse for my Church on the first Friday of each month. We have board games, snacks, and live music. Performers there include Cross-Linked, Rich Graham, Dave Arndt, Alan Kitchen, Cindy Seifert, Brad Yoder, Grant Van Leuven, and me (so far). It is a great place to take a family or a date, or just if you are looking for some friendly conversation.

Mark Stroup and I run an Internet Radio Station named Paco , showcasing Pgh acoustic musicians.

Here is my advice on How to run a small PA system , which may be useful to inexperienced performers.

Here are my thoughts on Atheism.

Most of the pictures on this site were taken by me, but not the pictures of me.
