The value comes from the “3-man quartet” format – you are, in effect, getting the equivalent of four musicians for the price of three. One of the most frequent comments we hear is “I can’t believe how much music you produce for just three people!”
The group can also generate the right mood for your event. We can keep things lively with up-beat up-tempo sets, we make things mellow with ballads and bossas, or we can mix it up. The organizer for a recent radio-station-sponsored show said “you all set exactly the right tone for our event!”
We can also offer flexibility in our configuration. If you have a limited budget or a more intimate setting, Schuster and Bay make a very effective two-man sax/piano/bass “trio.” If your event requires a vocalist, we can add Linda Imperial or another fine female vocalist. And if you’re looking for a bigger sound, we can add trumpet, trombone or guitar.
