What the Bible Says About Skydiving
If God had intended man to stay on the ground, He would have
given us roots.
There are numerous Biblical references to the sport of skydiving. Here
are some of passages.
About first time jitters:
Hearts melt, knees give way, bodies tremble, every face grows pale.
Nahum 2:10
At the sound of their fall the earth will tremble; their cry will resound
to the Red Sea. Jeremiah 49:21
On the day of your fall each of them will tremble every moment for his
life. Ezekiel 32:10
My heart falters, fear makes me tremble; the twilight I longed for has
become a horror to me. Isaiah 21:4
About bad weather days:
Today it will be stormy, for the sky is red and overcast. Mathew

About paying a rigger to pack your parachute:
As surely as the LORD lives, not a hair of his head will fall to the ground,
for he did this today with God's help. 1 Samuel

About packing your own parachute:
Solomon replied, "If he shows himself to be a worthy man, not a hair of
his head will fall to the ground; but if evil is found in him, he will
die." 1 Kings 1:52
About jumping through clouds:
. . .a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and they were afraid as they
entered the cloud. Luke 9:34
About BASE jumping:
The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of
the temple. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down
from here. Luke 4:9
