Me on a level 8 jumpBonzai! I made my first tandem skydive in the summer of 1994 at a tiny Drop Zone in Waterville, Nova Scotia with my friend Norm. We flipped a coin to see who'd go first; I won. We both started our A.F.F. training at Skydive Pepperell two years later.  Here I am at pull time on my first A.F.F. jump.

Most of my jumps now are done at Pepperell, MA, which looks like this from the air. Note the Nashua river which parallels the runway. Landing on the wrong side of this can result in a very long walk, as I found out on my 16th jump. I've got a little over 100 jumps now, which still makes me a "novice" in the skydiving world. So far, my parachute has opened properly every time except twice.Click for Pepperell, Massachusetts Forecast
