June 2006:

    ----->20th<-----
  • Added a How To on swapping out the orange numbers in a Starion gauge cluster. Check it out here: Damn Orange
  • Thinking about adding a how to section...
  • Got my tools back from ZooM, starting basic mods... or at least trying to... ZooM and his Silvia are so NEEDY... haha.
    ----->2nd<-----
  • One year anniversary for this website!! +2,800 hits, not bad I'd say.
  • I was thinking of a name change, but stupid idiots at Godaddy.com can't read emails clearly and basically F'd me over, automatically charged me for one year renewal when I clearly stated that I didn't want it. You can email and spam the retard at: jbjohnson@GoDaddy.com
  • ZooM's SR20DET swap is complete!! Had the CAS plug on backwards and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't start up... haha... runs great. Now for the tuning... AND pics.
  • So when ZooM finally gives back my tools, I can begin modding the Starion.

March 2006:

    ----->2nd<-----
  • NEW VIDEO, from when DriftAbility.com visited Canadia in search of parts for ZooM's Silvia. Check it out here: Canada Has Beef
  • Surprisingly (Or not) I just finshed off some of the tasty McD's Bacon Cheese Burgers with Big Mac sauce, again. Helps me design websites I suppose... haha.
  • I've actually added pics over the past few weeks, but neglected to note that here... so, check out the Gallery.
  • Annnnnd... finally put the weak (stock) specs up for the Starion, for your viewing pleasure.
  • Last but not least, we're closer to initiating a new member to the DriftAbility crew...

February 2006:

    ----->18th<-----
  • The website was finally ugly enough, I had to change it. Erased the whole site, and started with a blank page. Mmm... looking tasty now... as tasty as those McD's Bacon Cheese Burgers with Big Mac sauce in my stomach. Eventually I'll get the rest of the pages updated. I've shown ZooM how to update, so maybe he'll grace the page with his input... someday. Please try to forget the uglyness of the other design!!
  • As I wash down those McD's burgers with my tasty beverage of choice, Gatorade, I'll get to the rest of the site.
  • And maybe tomorrow I'll get to uploading the pics... maybe.
  • So, I finally have a running Starion... my my what a trip it was getting it back to my garage.

December 2005:

    ----->25th<-----
  • Yeah yeah... haven't been updating in a while, the "working on cars season" was over. And I've been on vacation. But, we're still here. We've found other ways to drift in the meantime... check out this video: OMDrift
  • Picked up a new engine with Magic internals along with a black starion, just waiting till the weather warms up to drop in the new engine.
  • While I've been busy buying cars... ZooM has been busy buying parts. Complete JDM Cusco suspension, JDM 180sx side skirts, APR Style GT500 Carbon wing... and some others I forgot by now... see his page for updates, as soon as HE uploads his pics.
  • Hope to add a new member to the group soon... secret weapon...
  • Haven't really updated the site because I've been working on making a cool flash website. Of course, if anyone out there knows quite a bit of flash design... I have a job for you, you will be paid for it. Please contact me if you're interested.
  • Have a MerryChristmas!!

September 2005:

    ----->5th<-----
  • Summer has been busy and lack of updates due to my main computer being down/custom case building. After many many hours of labor, it is back up and good to go.
    Comp1       Comp2
  • ZooM finally received all the correct parts for the s15 front end. It took us only two days for completion. We also removed his previous body kit, which is now for sale.
  • My Starion ESi-R is going to be brought back to life soon. All the engine parts are in the machine shop getting spec’d out.
  • A set of 16x8” 0+ offset aluminum wheels for my D-50 are also at the machine shop being modified for custom fitment on my truck. They stick out quite a bit further than I originally planned, which means we’ll have to get started on the widebody kit soon.
  • Met up with a lot of cool guys from NWN for a Salem meet yesterday. I forgot to bring the camera… what do you expect, it was early in the morning… haha.

June 2005:

    ----->27th<-----
  • Added a few new pics on the 240 and D50 page. We're getting so many, that eventually I'll have to divide them in sections... but, that means more work for me, so it'll be a while.
  • Added the Panic Mode Drift Team to the credits page. Check em out!!
  • Spent hours recoding, and perfecting the whole site. A finely tuned website is much like a finely tuned car. (That, and I am a nerd who wanted the code to be perfect.) While I was at it, I threw in some suprises for you. Also changed the watermark on this page to make it easier to read. Let me know if you find the suprise and if this page is any easier to read.
    ----->22nd<-----
  • Update on ZooM's s15 fender dillema: RaceOn USA took two weeks to "look in thier warehouse and locate a pair of non-vented fenders." They only found out this info after many phone calls because someone who we will not name *cough* DJ *cough* can't return phone calls or conduct his business in an effcient and prompt manner. We are very dissapointed in doing business with them; although, before they got ZooM's money... they were very quick and eager to answer any questions. We'll see what happens next.
  • Made some major changes to the html coding. (Finally got unlazy and decided to do it by hand.) Now working on a thumbnail setup to display images. DONE, check it out!!
    ----->13th<-----
  • Zoom's s15 front end came in on the 6th. However, like all the other "race shops" have been, we've been let down by RaceOn USA. He ordered the non-vented fenders, and of course in typical "race shop" fashion, we got the vented fenders. Non-vented fenders are supposedly on back order, delaying the completion of the conversion by at least 1 month.
  • So, this server doesn't support CGI scripts, which means... no guestbook. I did install a chatter box on each of our pages, you can leave your comments there.
  • This layout is bothering me, but, I'm still waiting for a dry day and more pics to change it.
  • DriftDay June 19th after the G.I. Joe's 200 Champ Car race, or so I've heard. It'll be at PIR, planning to go and watch the Formula D drivers compete. Things came up and we weren't able to attend.

May 2005:

    ----->31st<-----
  • New website design, type type type type... TIME TO EAT.
  • Removed all old pictures of our cars, I will repost them at a later date so you can see the before and after photos.
  • Looking for new server so we can finally get rid of these stupid ads.
  • Set up didn't take as long as I expected. Well, it's here... and that means I have some work to do. Expect many updates over the next few weeks.
