The Central Savannah River Area includes the city of Augusta, Georgia and many surrounding towns in both Georgia and South Carolina. The acronym "CSRA" is used extensively in the region.Most major organizations for veterans/servicemen have local units in the area. The purpose of this site is to provide information about these chapters and posts in order to assist visitors, as well as local area residents.The Department of Veterans Affairs' Augusta V. A. Medical Center has two facilities located here. There are representatives from several of the listed organizations who have offices at the V. A. Medical Center in order to assist veterans with their claims and needs.If you have recently left the service and would like to begin filing for V.
