| "After graduation, I moved to Muskegon and attended MCC for a year. After a bad case of the empty bank account, I moved back to Fremont and began working for Gerber Life Insurance. In 1993 I married Joe VanderMolen (FHS class of 1991). I continued working at Gerber Life until 1995, when I got a job as a switchboard operator at Pine Medical Group in Fremont. I've worked at Pine Medical for 11 years now, aside from a brief stint at Metropolitan Title in 1998 which turned out to be a huge mistake. Luckily, Pine Medical rehired me, this time as an insurance billing clerk for our OB/Gyn department. In 2001, I was promoted to Administrative Assistant, which is still what I am doing today. It is wonderful - I absolutely love my job and I work with great people. As I write this (July 2006) Joe and I have been married for almost 13 years now, and we have a daughter who was born in December of 2003. She is magnificent! We also have two Bichon Frise dogs. Joe is the Assistant Manager at UBC (formerly Central Michigan Lumber, formerly Wolohan Lumber, formerly Safeway Lumber) in Fremont and he also coaches basketball." - Billie Jo | ||
