Jennifer's recent(2005) addition..Satori.

"I married Ron Hillman (we met at Muskegon Community College) in May of 1993 - added a "man" to my life and my name! I received an AA degree at MCC with a concentration in Elementary Education in 1993 and my BS in Behavioral Science (almost a minor in statistics) at Grand Valley State in 1995. I started a career with the federal government in 1996 working in Detroit as a Supervisory Survey Statistician for the Census Bureau. Worked there for 6+ years and got tired of big city living. Ron got a job in Grand Rapids in 2002 and we lived apart for a year before I was able to find a job in West Michigan. That job turned out to be working for the state at FIA (welfare agency) in White Cloud as a Family Independence Specialist. While I was doing that, we also opened a Comic Book shop in downtown Fremont (Hillmania Comics-N-Stuff). I quit FIA after a year to run the comic shop full time. Managing a comic book shop was exciting (some of our classmates were customers), but low and behold, I got pregnant and we just couldn't keep the shop going with the added expenses of a little one. Our first human child, lest not to forget our cat Kiddo, was born October 26, 2004. Satori (which means enlightenment or a flash of sudden awareness – like Zen) is our little bundle of joy. Now, Ron and I are adjusting to being parents after 11 years of marriage - quite a challenge! As I write this in 2005, I’m a stay-at-home mom nestled out in the middle of the woods in Sherman Township, just outside of Fremont." - Jennifer
