"After high school I obtained a social work degree and moved to Washington state for a change of pace and time in mountains. I loved my time there and all the opportunities to go hiking. In 1999 I returned to Michigan and married Don Uken, a college friend. I am employed at Area Agency on Aging of Western Michigan in Grand Rapids and am currently enjoying maternity leave following the birth of our first child, Mairedith Louise, named to honor my parents. Life is good! God is good!" - Mary
