Your Fourth Day
- After a
Camino Weekend -
|
RoosterTale |
The RoosterTale is published four times per year (one just prior to and one just following each Camino weekend), and is mailed and provided electronically through Camino's email list. Beginning in 2010, hard copies of the RT will only be mailed to those who have requested a hard copy. HOAC's email list is also used for news, updates, and prayer requests. |
|
Reunion Groups |
Those who have attended a Camino weekend are encouraged to meet regularly with others in small groups to encourage each other in Christian faith. |
|
Consuno |
Consuno is an evening gathering for the purpose of fun,
worship, giving testimony to what God is doing in our lives, sharing in
table groups what we are doing to grow in our faith and serve the Lord,
praying for each other, and renewing friendships. Two times per year we have "Consuno Grande" which includes a pot-luck meal and more fellowship time. |
|
4th Day Workshop |
A 4th
Day Workshop is for those who have attended a Camino weekend in order
to understand how weekend leaders are selected, how weekend teams work
together, and how they can serve on a weekend. Attending a 4th Day Workshop is a
prerequisite to working a weekend for the first time. Workshops are
generally offered four or more times per year. |
| Video
Tech Class |
Video Techs are important to the
weekends, and they spend several hours in prep prior to the HOAC
weekend. They meet with those giving weekend talks and work with
each one in preparing the PowerPoint slideshows (which includes being
in contact generally by email, possibly called on to scan photos, find
images...), create a hard-copy file of the slideshows, attend all of
Workday, and run the PowerPoint on the weekend itself. A Video
Tech should be someone who has been around Camino for awhile and
familiar with the talks. Attendance at a Video Tech Class is
required to be added to the list available to weekend rectors.
Classes are generally offered two times per year. |
