Dr. Gang graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. She was employed in South Jersey as an associate veterinarian for six years. Then she established the Veterinary House Call Service in 1995. When her client base expanded beyond her expectations, Dr. Gang realized the need to open her own small animal hospital. In 1999, Dr. Gang established the Hartford Animal Hospital. Her intention was, and is, to maintain a friendly, intimate practice in which clients may be confident that their pets will be treated with kindness, respect, and dignity by an experienced, skilled general practitioner and staff. Professional areas of special interest for Dr. Gang include diabetic maintenance, general dentistry, geriatrics and dermatology. She regularly attends continuing education programs to advance her knowledge. Today Dr. Gang is delighted to have achieved her lifelong goal to be "the other family doctor" -- for the fluffier members of the family. Dr. Gang's own family includes two rescued Bichon Frises, three cats, an aquatic frog and fish. The hospital's official greeter and mascot are "Tasha" and "Clint" respectively (our two tabby cats). "Lucy" and "Ricky" -- two hermit crabs -- have just moved in to torment the cats. |
