It is our hope and prayer that those who decide to be a part of IBMR will also already have a thorough knowledge of Bible doctrine and are in fellowship with those who hold this stand.
 We wish to be separate only in our salvation, fully recognizing our daily need
 for grace and mercy. Our goal is to be a living and powerful witness, united by
the very core doctrines help by Independent Baptist Churches throughout the ages. 

 

 

Jesus Christ is the only means of salvation. ( all emphasis is mine ) 

“ Act 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

“ Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission."

"I Cor. 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay that that is laid, which is Jesus Christ."

"Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;"

"I John 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."

WE believe the Bible is God's Holy Word. Sixty-six books written without admixture of error. There are no additional texts so inspired or created. 

WE believe in the verbal, plenary inspiration of scripture, penned down by men as God directed them yet without overtaking their individual characteristics and styles of writing. 

WE believe there is one God, the Father, yet three as one in the Trinity. 

WE believe the Trinity consists of God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Spirit. Each eternal and co-equal persons, the same in substance but distinct in subsistence. 

WE believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born in flesh, died for our sins, and was raised the third day to bring us salvation and to be our intercessor and mediator between us and God. 

WE believe salvation is by faith alone in the Lord Jesus Christ and not of works. It cannot be purchased or earned. 

WE believe in the Holy Spirit as the third member of the Trinity. He teaches, convicts, guides and commissions us to the work of the Lord. 

WE believe in angels as beings unseen yet are messengers of Gods Word, and guardians of his children. 

WE believe in Satan as the enemy of Christ and all Christians. He is the great deceiver, the accuser of the brethren. 

WE believe in demons as those fallen angels who fell with Satan by believing his lies and who can overtake and indwell non-believers and can overtake a weakened Child of God but cannot indwell the Child of God. 

WE believe man is a fallen creation of God. Created for fellowship, fallen to sin in the Garden of Eden. From the fall all men are born in sin and must place their faith in Christ for salvation. 

WE believe sin is the cause of separation between man and God. The payment for sin was satisfied only by the shedding of blood by the Lord Jesus Christ upon the cross of Calvary. 

WE believe salvation is a free gift and provides us with eternal salvation. It cannot be lost, bartered for or sold at any cost once it has been obtained. 

WE believe the church are the called out assembly. One day the church (all believers) will be called to Heaven at the Rapture prior to God's judgment on this world. 

WE believe God grants to every believer specific gifts of the Spirit; but that these do not include tongues, or healing in this age.
