The 13" gold plates become the brilliant background for the traditional Chinese calligraphy. In the production of each plate, a black lacquer base has been hand-adhered with micro-thin sheets of gold-tone metallic leaf and then covered with coats of natural clear lacquer. The texture formed by the gold leaf is attractive, and the finished surface is shiny and smooth. Due to the nature of hand-made processes, each plate carries unique characteristics, and no two plates are identical.

These beautiful pieces are for decorative purposes only, and are not suitable for serving food. The plates beautifully enhance tabletops, sideboards, and walls. Plate racks, hangers, and stands may be utilized to achieve the perfect display. The use of each presentation piece (or a set of them) is as limitless as your creativity and imagination.
