Life

I currently work for Barbara Jordan High School for Carreers, part of Houston ISD)  There I teach geometry.

From 2001 to 2003, I taught at La Villa High.  I taught everything from basic Math 1 to Algebra I and Algebra II to Pre-Calculus.  I also was trained for and taught Core Plus 1 and 2.

In 1999-2000, I was a teacher at McHi . In the Rio Grande Valley in the FAR south of Texas I had three classes of Algebra I CP, a class of Algebra I 4ª, and one of Algebra I ESL.

I also attended Panam where I was taking classes to finish my teacher's certification. I also graduated from here, but I have also attended classes at Cornerstone University , Pensacola Christian College and BBC in Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania through the ARRIBA Program.

Other than that I also try to help out a mission church here.

My Pages

There are several places that allow you to have a packaged page that can show relevant data from news to sports to stocks to weather and even some other interesting items. Here are a couple of mine.          My Netscape     My Excite,     MyYahoo.

Interests

What are my interests?  What do I enjoy doing?
Reading
I love to read.  Some of my favorites are spotlighted on My Interests.  Another author I enjoy is Gordon Korman.  He writes funny junior fiction.
Reading gives me an opportunity to pretend that I'm in a different world and in a different person's shoes.  I've noticed that those who enjoy reading also enjoy learning.

Computer programs and games
Although I have the complete Microsoft Office 2000, I prefer WordPerfect office 2000.  It is better for inputing equations and better tools for working with other languages.
I have lots of games, which I hardly ever get a chance to play.  Most of them would take hours to play if you couldn't save games.  Some of my favorites are King's Quest (all of them), Pirates, MechWarrior 2, Myst, Chex Quest, Arcade games that remind me of the ATARI, Card games (great for playing alone).
My computer-savey friends tease me, but I also have emulators for the Amiga, Atari, and Nintendo

Trumpet
One of the best instruments ever.  After all even angels use it.  I usually have to transpose voice or piano music because trumpet scores are hard to find or expensive.  I haven't played in groups in years, but I still like to use my trumpet to play in church or just to play alone.

Languages
I like to study languages.  I already speak Spanish.  I've started learning both German and Japanese.  However, it's hard to force yourself to learn something when you can't see when you can use it.

History
I was born in Wurzburg, Germany on Aug 21, 1971 because my father was in the military.  I don't remember this though.  Thereafter, I lived in Flint MI where I attended Hamady Elementary, Hamady Jr High and Hamady High School.  I was in 5th or 6th grade when I accepted Christ as my Savior.
In high school I was able to participate in several areas like wrestling, Key Club, Student Council, and the musical, Grease.  I also worked at a library.
The first college I went to was Pensacola Christian.  It had beautiful facilities, but we were hardly ever allowed to use them.  It was supposed to be full of Christians, but we had more rules than a prison.  However, I was involved with several ministries and with my Collegian, Phi Beta Delta.
After three semesters I left there and worked construction for a year before going to Cornerstone University (Grand Rapids Baptist College back then.)
to be continued...
