Sally and Her Graphics Challenge
Meet
Sally. She works at ESI as a Conference Assistant. She is currently
working on a big meeting for the Department of Education. For this
meeting, she needs to put her client’s logo on the following
items:
- A Web page
- A PeopleWare Pro header
- Name badges in Word
- A large sign to post during the conference
- Printed materials, such as a registration packet
Her client, Bertha, has just given her a file called logo.eps,
but Sally doesn’t know if this is the right file format for
all these items.
Through the course of this Web-based training we’ll answer
the following questions:
- Is this the kind of file that Sally needs to do all these tasks?
How can you tell?
- Does she need to convert the graphic to another type?
If so, what?
- What types of graphics are there and when should
they be used?
- What is resolution and how does it determine
the quality of a graphic?
- How do you convert graphics and what programs
can she use to do this?
Let's Get Started!
