Anne-Marie is one year old!!!

Anne-Marie turned one year old on December 12th, 2002.  And we were please to have a small gathering of immediate family to celebrate the occasion on the Sunday following her birthday.  It was great fun to have celebrated with everyone, and had we known how well Anne-Marie was going to do with such a number of people, we surely would have expanded into the extended family.  But hopefully with these pictures, a taste of what transpired will be pleasing.

The long and short of the story is that she really did enjoy everyone's company and was quite content to be at the center of all the commotion.  As for the cake, though, she hadn't acquired the taste for frosting, let alone the feel of it on her fingers (as can be seen by her reaction in the images that follow).  Enjoy:
