What You Get       How It Works       Subscribe Now!

Community Supported Agriculture makes you part of the process. Subscribers buy a share of the year's produce at the start of the season and and receive a portion of what comes available each week. In the process, you support our local economy and increase the amount of healthy, fresh organic food available to our community.

Your up-front investment helps make Paradise Gardens and Farm possible. Organic farming is expensive.
(Certification alone costs over $1000.) Organic seed and seed potatoes are 2-3 times the price of conventional seed and stock. And there is more risk -- No herbicides here! We also have the major costs of starting and running a licensed dairy and creamery operation, including regular monthly testing of our milk and cheese and this year, the solar installation. Nobody gets rich in the pocketbook doing organic farming, but we feel richer knowing that we provide healthy humanely-raised food. By buying a CSA share, you quite literally share in that good feeling and in the delicious natural bounty that your support makes possible.  Please join us!

As a subscriber you will receive a weekly portion of organic vegetables and fruits and a newsletter with recipes and useful information about
nutrition and organic agriculture, and news about your investment -- our farm.

CSA SHARES 2012
[IMPORTANT NOTE:  The CSA for 2012 is still being planned. With Lucinda gone, I am assessing the extent to which I can make the CSA happen while trying to keep our main goat business going. We plan to sign up 15-17 households, so please do apply if you are interested.  By April 1, 2012 I will have a decision on whether we do the CSA in 2012.  So get registered, but please do not send money until I get back in touch with you. Please bear with me, loyal customers, as I get a handle on what I can do without my partner Lucinda being here.]
Produce Shares

weekly share will provide seasonal organic vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Click here to see a suggestion of what our shares may have from week to week. What is actually available any given week depends on Nature and how the gardens grow. Spring starts slim and green. Summer gets fuller and more colorful. Fall culminates the harvest season. Weekly newsletter offers recipe for Cooking in Season.
FMNP checks may be applied to the Produce share, and we will add an additional $25 discount! Spirit of Women members get a $25 discount.
