We're still waiting to hear back from IGBO regarding our status.  The enrollment fee was mailed in last month.

NHGMC WINTER CONCERT
This Saturday and Sunday will be the last 2 shows of the winter season for the New Hampshire Gay Men's Chorus.  They will be performing at the Derryfield School in Manchester at 7:30pm Saturday night.  As a special treat, 7 members of the women's group Aksara, will be performing 2 songs with the chorus as well as a song or two of their own.  As of last night, there were only 30 tickets left out of 400!  So, if you want to see this special show, go online and get your tickets now!  The chorus will also be performing on Sunday at 4pm at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Nashua (still plenty of seats available).  This concert will definitely put you "in the mood" for the holidays. Tickets can be ordered by visiting their website, www.nhgmc.com and selecting the Events section or buy them at the door (Nashua only).  Ticket prices are $16 each ($12 for under 13 and Senior Citizens).  We will also be raffling off a homemade quilt (autographed by the chorus), made by Rick Carkin (former league member) at each show..

MORE SINGING TALENT!
If watching a bunch of singing queens isn't your thing, check out our very own sub, Karen Grenier, who plays and sings at various clubs in the area.  This Saturday she will be singing and playing at Quackers in the Wayfarer Inn from 9pm-midnight (assuming you can't get tickets to the chorus' show!!).  She will also be performing at Quackers on New Years Eve from 9pm-1am.  Get out there and support our singing sister!

SECRETARY OUT OF COMMISSION!
Christine will be away from bowling for a few weeks as she tends to some personal business.  She will still manage our website, however.  So, if you have anything that needs to go to the website, give it to Tim or Ron and they will ensure that she receives the info.

FRUIT CAKES
Richard Talbot (Tim's partner) makes and sells homemade fruit cakes each holiday season...and this year is no exception!  Most Americans laugh at the idea of giving fruit cakes as a gift, but these aren't your typical fruit cakes.  They are the moistest and sweetest you'll ever have!  There are 3 sizes available at $4.25 ($4 if you buy 4 or more), $8 ($7.50 if you buy 4 or more), and $25.  See Tim if you would like to order any (but they are going fast!).
