Newtown Hadassah is now
under the auspices of Hadassah of Greater Philadelphia
and is referred to as a "Unit."
"Big Chapters"
have at least 4,000 members. Hadassah of Greater Philadelphia
is an "Independent Big Chapter," meaning it is not
affiliated with a Region. However,
it receives the same membership subvention from National Hadassah
for membership
as all other Chapters. It also is given a quota by National
Hadassah.
