The Oriental Rescue Fund (ORF)
Sadly there are times when Oriental cats are found in
rescue. These situations can occur due to the death of an owner who left no
provisions for the cat, to a new baby with allergies, and to the family that no
longer has time for their kitty. As responsible breeders, the members of
OSA help find new loving homes for these cats.
Sometimes financial assistance is needed to provide
veterinary care or transportation of rescued cats. As such, the club created the
"Oriental Rescue Fund" (ORF). Monies for this fund are generated by
special raffles at our shows and by donations from our generous club members.
Any club member rescuing an Oriental cat may receive funds
(with Board approval). Please contact a club officer
for more information.
