Plants make the garden. But what will they do for the railroad?

This section is going to have to wait until next year for any real content. I'm looking at some "stepables" as well as some other items that Bryan Anderson has suggested. I'm in Zone 5, and the garden gets very little full sun, so shade-loving plants will have to be the rule.

Musser Nurseries in nearby Indiana, PA, was the source for some assorted hemlock and spruce that will frame Shantytown, as well as some boxwoods that will surround one of the farm houses.
