| Welcome to the political thoughts web site. I am fascinated by history
and politics. I believe being a politician in a representative democracy
is one of the great callings that a person can have but, I am not a politician,
nor do I aspire to be one. I do vote in elections. I also think and reflect
on issues, and am greatly concerned about our times.
This web site is my effort to join in the larger political discussion of my city (Gaithersburg), my county (Montgomery County), my state (Maryland), my country (The United States of America), and the world (Earth). I read a great deal and try to stay up to date on a variety of issues. I do not claim any special insight or special power that will convey the truth. I believe strongly that through discussion and action we can create a world where people can lead productive happy lives. This is my effort to contribute to the discussion.
