Nature and Examples of My Shows

My shows are Bible-based. I not only perform for church audiences, but also in evangelistic settings, where I can present a clear, non-threatening gospel message entirely through illusions. I perform tricks in my tuxedo, cape and top hat (see Photos) to illustrate Biblical principles in a way that is not only entertaining, but also memorable, and sometimes even amazing! I perform most often for children, especially elementary school age, but have performed for audiences of all ages.

I make it very clear to my audiences that the tricks I perform are not miracles or anything supernatural. That is why my stage name is “The (sort of) Great Randini” – I explain to my audiences that only God is great, and can suspend the laws of nature and do miracles. I tell the crowd that I only do tricks, sleight of hand. I want God to get all the glory in my shows. No tricks are performed without an accompanying spiritual lesson, and I explain that those principles are much more important than the tricks.

I can tailor the content and length of my show to meet your group's needs. Typically, my shows run from 30 minutes to an hour in length. I am very flexible, and can develop shows on most any theme or topic. Here are some of the shows I have performed:

My standard evangelistic show includes a sin scarf disappearing from a box of a "sinner" volunteer and reappearing on a volunteer who represents Christ when the "sinner" puts his faith in Christ; a blank Bible that suddenly has black & white pictures and then color pictures as the children learn to read it with the help of the Holy Spirit; a card trick where the king of hearts mysteriously is transformed into a picture of Jesus, the REAL King of hearts; a coin disappearing from the clutches of a volunteer representing Satan, and reappearing inside a set of boxes labeled Father, Son and Holy Spirit, showing how secure our salvation is once we put our faith in Christ. I am not a Las Vegas performer, and will NOT be producing live animals, sawing anyone in half, or levitating anyone. But my tricks do still amuse and amaze.
