It’s a Dalmatian, a toy, a tote -- just ADORABLE. It’s so much fun to make. The upraised arms are waiting to cling to the new owner or hang on a door knob or whatever. The face flap reveals a place to store treasures or hide cash. It can add a whimsical touch as a home decor item.

This pattern consists of 10 pages photo-copied with black ink on white paper.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

1/2 yd. sturdy white fabric for body, lining, arms,
    and face. Based on 44/45 inch fabric
1/4 yd. polyester traditional batting. Based on 36 inch fabric.
Small amount of Polyester Fiberfill to stuff arms
    and paws.

NOTIONS:

Thread to match the fabric.
Sharp lead pencil or tailor’s chalk.
Artist’s brush.
Fabric paints in the following colors: Black for
     spots and eyes
White for eye high lights.
Red for tongue
Black fine line fabric marker for mouth and outlining the other features.
1/4th of a red bandanna that is 21 ½" square

                                 OR

you may substitute a 9 ½ " square of solid
    colored fabric that you fold under the edges
    ¼ inch twice around all four sides. Sew this
    narrow hem around the neck scarf if you are
    not concerned about the "bandanna look".
