It’s a Doll, a toy, a tote -- just ADORABLE --
measuring a BIG 18 inches from the top of her upraised hands down to the tips of her toes. She is waiting to cling to the new owner or hang on a door knob or whatever. Lift the face flap to reveal a place to store your treasures. Makes a whimsical home decor item.

This pattern consists of 10 pages photo-copied with black ink on white paper.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

(Based on 45 inch fabric)
¼ yard sturdy crisp fabric (such as broadcloth) for face
    arms and legs - flesh colored
1/3 yard white fabric for body and lining
½ yard fashion fabric - either solid color or small
    pattern design for the dress. Allow extra fabric to
    match plaids, stripes, one-way design fabric, or nap
    yardages.
Poly-fil® Extra-Loft ® batting 9" x 14" to pad  the
    face and top of head.
Poly-fil® Traditional batting 12" x 19" to pad the body
    lining.
2" x 16" black washable felt for shoes.
Small amount of stuffing for arms and legs
Bathing suit interfacing for socks or similar very
    stretchy thin white fabric 3" x 14"
Stretch lace for top of socks 1" wide x 8" long
Thread to match fabrics.
Pre gathered eyelet lace ½ " wide x ½ yard long for
    around the face.
3/8 " wide grosgrain ribbon 14" long for under the chin.
Dritz® Fray Check ^TM to stop ribbon from fraying.
Sharp lead pencil.
Fabric markers in desired colors
Optional: Quilting thread or embroidery floss to quilt the face, if desired.
