Mr. Snowman is a toy, a tote -- just ADORABLE. It’s is so much fun to make with this quick and easy pattern. Would you believe he is made from just one major pattern piece? The HAT and BOW TIE are cut separately. Black button eyes shine with excitement. Pom pom nose and buttons are glued on. Add a smile with a simple running stitch. Upraised arms are waiting to cling to the new owner or hang from a door knob or whatever. The face flap reveals a place to store treasures. He measures 12 inches from the top of his hands down to his snowy bottom. Add a whimsical touch as a home decor item.

This pattern consists of five Big 8 1/2" x 14" pages photo-copied with black ink on white paper.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

¼ yard Plush white washable felt
Scraps of black washable felt for the hat and green washable felt for the BOW TIE
   and  BOW TIE KNOT
Small amount of stuffing for arms, hands,
    and hat

NOTIONS:

Thread to match the felt body, hat, and
    ribbon.
Strong white thread such as upholstery
    thread or
quilting thread for sewing hands together.
Sharp lead pencil or tailor’s chalk.
Tracing Paper
Two black round 7/16" buttons with shank
    for the eyes
One red 3/8" Pom Pom for nose
One yellow 3/8" Pom Pom to decorate his
    chest
One orange 3/8" Pom Pom to decorate his
    chest
One green 3/8" Pom Pom to decorate his
    chest
Fabric glue
Black embroidery floss (for mouth)
One Embroidery needle with a large eye
Ribbon - 5/8 "wide x 5 ½" length (color of your choice)
