2002 March 30 - Carrie plays the first half in an exhibition game in Denver, helping to shut down the WUSA champion CyberRays.
2002 March 23 - Carrie plays yet another full game, helping to shut out the Atlanta Beat.
2002 March 20 - Carrie plays another full game in an exhibition scorefest with the Charge.
2002 March 16 - Carrie plays full game in scrimmage with a U-19 team from Long Island. Low point: Falling down several times on the slick grass. High point: Heading a defensive clearance right to forward Tracey Milburn, who centers the ball to Abby Wambach for the Freedom's third goal.
2001 December 26 - The Freedom acquire Carrie's former William and Mary teammate Ann Cook from the CyberRays for Michelle French.
2001 October 29, November 3 - Carrie participates in the Unity Games between the Freedom and the Power in New York and Washington.
2001 October 8 - Carrie plays in the Hall
of Fame game between the Freedom and the Breakers.

2001 August 4 - Carrie plays the last 23 minutes in a losing cause against Atlanta. High point: Singlehandedly saving a Sun Wen shot from going in the net. Low point: Getting a her first WUSA yellow card for the dubious sin of hitting Charmaine Hooper in the elbow with her mouth. (I'm not making this up!)
2001 August 1 - Carrie plays the last 27 minutes as the Freedom come back to tie the Spirit in Torero Stadium.
2001 July 29 - Carrie plays her first complete game as the Freedom lose in Boston. (And I was there!)
2001 July 26 - Carrie plays the entire second half in a frustrating loss to the Charge.
2001 July 22 - On her 23rd birthday, Carrie plays 15 minutes against the eventual WUSA champion CyberRays.
2001 July 15 - Carrie makes her regular-season debut as an emergency substitution for Emmy Barr, going in at the 40th minute of a win against the Power. After sitting on the bench up until this point, she plays in every following Freedom game to date. High point: Getting to play. Low point: One of your teammates taking a head injury in order for you to play.
