Tournament Procedures and Scoring

1. All play will be from the white tees unless the yardages is less than 6000 yards in which case the play will be from the blue tees.

2. All play will fall under the rules of golf.

3. All play will include the savannah rule where if a ball is hit out of bounds or is lost it will be played as a lateral hazard and will be brought back into play one club length where the ball went out of bounds or was lost. During NCGA qualifiers the rules of golf shall be followed for a lost ball or out of bounds and a provisional ball should be used where necessary.

4. In all championship events both stroke, Best Ball and Match Play and or qualifiers, pairings will be utilized to match opponents in the same foursomes.

6. All scores will be posted by the club.

7. Any player that turns in scores that are lower than net par more than 3 times throughout the year will have their handicap adjusted for the following tournament the average number of strokes that they are below par on the preceding events. This adjustment will stay with them for the rest of the TPC events or until their index lowers to the adjusted index. For example if a player nets out at 65, 69 and 68 the average of the three scores below par is 4.6 that will adjust up to 5. If the players index is 15 they will play the following events at a 10.Their index will never go lower than a 10 unless the index drops as a result of consistent lower scores adjust their index down with the NCGA. This ruling does not affect Best Ball events.
