As of 11MAR07 most test equipment manual 'freebies' have been removed from this page and added to the sales page with a price of 'Free', where clicking on 'Free' in the 'price' column links to the manual.

I had a very hard time putting this one up, because I couldn't stop going through it long enough to process it! Here's the 1969 Tektronix catalog, in color, courtesy of Mat Breton. We're aware of the incomplete information or lack of information on several pages (such as 104, 122, 367, and 379, mostly involved with large tables) and will find corrections as soon as possible. This one has been zipped, and it's sixty (60) megabytes. Download time on some dialups will be as much as three hours, download time on a cable connection should be ten to twenty minutes or so, depending on how many folks are on the server.

We've become aware of a tremendous resource! A good general manual from Tektronix on how to troubleshoot and repair their 'scopes! We won't provide it for download on this page, but will tell you where to get it free of charge: SPHERE RESEARCH. Actually, Sphere is a tremendous resource in and of itself. Parts! Service Tips! Equipment! You'll want to cruise around Sphere's site for a while. It's a slice of heaven for lovers of quality test equipment, especially those of us doing what we can to keep beautiful albeit older equipment going. Betcha dollars to doughnuts Sphere ends up in your bookmarks (or "favorites")!
Another free download is the operating manual for the Yaesu FT-2400H FM Transceiver. This is a 6.4MB zipped PDF file. Much of the operation of this fine radio is intuitive, but some is not. Also, it covers options for the radio, programming, cloning and etceteras.
