NEC PY4B (Sport II) Manuals in PDF on CD

These Manuals cover all information for the NEC Neo-Pop Data Display (PN5PY-4B) pager, also known as "Facts Replay" or "Sport II" models. These are frequency synthesized models. The manuals are scanned from the original OEM paper manuals. The scans came out very well, and all information available in the original manuals is available and readable here. The pages are provided in a single Adobe PDF file, and a distributable version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader is included on the CD.

You should have no problem printing these pages to restore the OEM manuals, or single pages can be printed as needed. Alternately, the information can be taken directly from the computer monitor. The pages are completely readable and are fine for technical people who need service information. Manual collectors, though, should search elsewhere. Our products are created with the working technician in mind, so any notes made in margins and etceteras are retained in our documents. Such notes are often valuable to other technicians.

These manuals delve deeply into every aspect of dealing with this pager family, including but hardly limited to repair, alignment, or just thoroughly understanding every aspect of this pager and many aspects of paging in general. There are extensive circuit descriptions, troubleshooting charts, schematics, board views (mechanical drawings), voltage and level diagrams, troubleshooting info by symptom, specifications and exhaustive, step-by-step operations information.

These manuals are written specifically for the 900 mHz (PN5) models, but of course the operations and much of the service information also applies to the UHF and VHF models of the PY4B pager family.
