Inclusion of the term "text-searchable" in the description indicates that the document has been processed via optical character recognition (OCR) and you can search the entire file for occurrences of a word or phrase. In other words, load up one of our text-searchable PDFs and, using the "Find" selection of the Edit menu, you can input the word (for instance) "display". The cursor will jump to the first instance of the word "display" in the document. Then, using the key combination Control-G, you can sequentially move to each occurrence of "display" in the manual. This process results in a manual that's superior to a document that's only bookmarked and hyperlinked.
Please don't confuse this with the index being text searchable as is offered by some of our competition, which offer text searches in all bookmarked indexes IF you're using the appropriate reader. Our text-searchable PDF versions are completely text searchable.. the entire document, not just bookmarked indexes! Why pay more and receive less?
