We are offering an informational video geared towards the education of emergency personnel across the United States and Canada.

It is common for people who come in contact with someone with Aphasia to think they are:

  • Under the influence

  • Disoriented

  • Retarded

This DVD is just under 15 minutes in length and is a simple and effective learning tool for police departments, fire departments, ambulance and emergency workers, as well as any other public organization who works with the general public.

The viewer will learn:

  • What is Aphasia?
  • How to identify someone with Aphasia
  • Ways to proceed when communicating
  • Understanding the special needs of someone with Aphasia

Aphasia Advocacy Foundation of New Hampshire would like to offer this informative video free of charge.  We ask only for our shipping and handling costs of $7.95 to anywhere in the lower 48 states. Our goal is to educate emergency personnel and the general public so there will be a  better understanding of what this is and ways to assist persons with Aphasia.
