RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY GROUP - Seacoast Area

For young adults-adults with high functioning autism, Asperger's Syndrome and/or other related similar neurological based challenges.  Hosted by Wentworth Douglass Hospital.  Meet new people for games, conversation, and food.  Another activity time will be planned each month for specific activities of interest to participants.

Meetings.  last Thursday of each month, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Salmon Falls Room, Wentworth Douglass Hospital, 1789 Central Avenue, Dover NH.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY GROUP - Keene NH   New !

A social recreation group for adults with Asperger's Syndrome and related disorders will meet on June 18th from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. at Antioche University New England, 40 Avon Street, Keene NH in Room 1B.  The group will offer adults with AS and related disorders an opportunity to socialize on a regular basis, twice a month.  Activities will be developed by the group itself.  For the first meeting, participants are encouraged to bring a board game of choice and an appetite for pizza.  The group is sponsored by the Asperger's Association of New England - NH Chapter.

The group faciliator is Joanna Andros, LICSW, a child and family therapist who completed Antioch University's Autism Spectrum Disorder Certificate Program in 2008.  For more information or to sign up to attend, please contact Joanna at 603-852-8168 or by email joannaandros@hotmail.com
