Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT YOUR NEW FACILITY??

We are very excited about our new facility.  We have almost 3x the indoor space we had at 20 Tremont Streett.  We also have 4x the size of the outdoor space.  Even more exciting than amount of the space is what the space has, a solid rubber floor throughout our facility, a new heat/air-conditioning system, skylights for a lot of natural light, lots of window for fresh air, a new updated grooming salon, and a much more enjoyable environment for all dogs.

When are you open?  We are open Mon – Fri   7:00 am- 6:30pm

Can I come and visit the facility??

You are welcome to visit our facility anytime during our operating hours.  We are open Mon – Fri, 7am – 6:30.  We have an open door policy for you to take a look around, though a full tour is not always available.  For insurance reasons, the public can not go where the dogs are loose playing.   If you would like a full tour of our facility one can be scheduled.

HOW MANY PEOPLE WITH THE DOGS??

THERE ARE ALWAYS 3 PEOPLE WORKING AT ONE TIME, 2 PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS SUPERVISING THE PLAYGROUP.

I get worried when I leave my pup anywhere. What should I do?

You should know that we all get worried or nervous when leaving our most precious possession.  Questions and answers usually help most nervous mommy’s & daddy’s, BUT you should always go with your gut instinct.  If you do not feel 100% confident in the person you are leaving your dog with, then you should reconsider your decision.

What if my dog acts aggressively toward another dog?
If the act is mild and out of character, the dog will be placed in a timeout until s/he has calmed down. If the aggression causes harm to another dog, you will be responsible for any veterinary care for that dog, and your dog will need to be seen by our trainer or another trainer which we can consult with.

How do I make reservations for daycare for my dog who has never been there before?
You call us to schedule an interview/evaluation. (free of charge). At the interview/evaluation, the dogs shot records are reviewed (rabies and distemper are required) and the dogs temperament is tested to make sure s/he is dog friendly, and not possessive of food or toys.  After the interview, your dog may come for daycare at any time.

Will you take my dog to his own vet if need be?
We will unless time is of the essence.   Our protocol for injuries is:  We assess the injury.  We feel it is an emergency we call the owner enroute to the Massachusettes Vet Referral in Woburn (10min away).   If it is not an emergency we call the owner and take the dog to their vet if the owner would like us to.
