Auto-complete is the default lookup mode, where the matched list of words is displayed as you type. Cleared M button indicates auto-complete mode. In addition to all the legal alphabets and punctuation marks, wildcard characters ('*' or '?") are also allowed.
To scroll up/down a page of the definition or adjacent entries: Press the hardware Up and Down keys.
The scroll bar for the definition text only appears when the text is large enough to require scrolling. Scroll bar is only good for scrolling a line or a page in either direction within a definition. The hardware buttons are required to scroll to adjacent headword entries.
When a word's definition or sense has word relations, a Rel link is displayed. Tapping it displays all the relations by category. There is a back link at the end of word relation display to traverse back to the headword display.
To exit A-Lex and release all the memory, tap Ok or its software key button, or select Menu -> Exit.
To suspend A-Lex and returns to previous application, tap the ok in the upper-right corner. A-Lex can be resumed by launch A-Lex via Start Menu or Programs launcher.
