The Keidan Memorial Book was published as a labor of love by people who wished to preserve the memory of their vanished community. Today we are continuing their work by making the Yizkor book widely accessible to Keidan descendents and others around the world. The pages on this webiste contain English translations of the material originally published in Hebrew and Yiddish.
As of late 2011, about a quarter of the articles had been translated; we are are working to translate the rest. Please consider helping this ongoing effort, and other projects to memorialize the Jewish community of Keidan, by making a donation. Use the link below to donate via PayPal or credit card.
