View of an annual greenhouse. Plants are started in late February and early March

One of our many perennial display areas.    We have an incredible selection all year long.  In the distance you see Cryptomeria japonica Yoshino (30'+pointy evergreen). They keep there color all year long and the deer hate them, which makes them a great plant!

Poinsettias are started in early August.  In 2004 we grew 14 varieties in singles, doubles, triples & quadruples.  This is a fun yet challenging crop.  Even if you don't like poinsettias it is worth a trip just to walk through the greenhousesa and see the different colors and shapes.
Acer palmatum Viridis showing it's fall color. It is in our field and is 8'+ across.  We've had the plant for so long that we decided to keep it as part of our display gardens.

There are many different areas that are used for sales, holding, and growing plants.  We are expanding our tree area by 1 acre and building additional holding and growing areas.  We used to grow all our larger plants in the ground but now we using a large container with drip irrigation
This is how our plants begin as either collected seed, rooted cutting  or divisions from our stock pots & beds.  In the future we will start grafting some of our more unusual trees. The learning process never ends.  It is a constant cycle of plant, transplant, grow and sell.
There are 7 greenhouses with 2 more planned for the future. They are always full with plants in production or ready for sale, even in January and February.
