A Child’s Place is located near the Whatcom Hills Waldorf School in the Geneva neighborhood in Bellingham, WA
The program offers a rhythmical morning, balancing free play and structured activities. Activities such as painting, drawing and baking enliven the senses. Dress-up and simple, natural toys lend themselves to imaginative play. Social skills are developed with peers in a small, mixed-age class.

Outdoor play is another important component of the preschool day. The children move about from the play house to the swings, they find shelter under the majestic cedar tree, run through the orchard, dig in the garden and have experiences close to nature every day.
