Augusto Boal (Theatre of the Oppressed) and J. L. Moreno (Sociometry and Psychodrama) each applied improvisational theatre in family and community situations. Several of their techniques will be taught and practiced including role reversal, doubling, Image Theatre, and Forum Theatre. We will develop theatres for social healing which participants may use in their own professional and community settings.
