About Us:

Adams Dance Academy creates an environment where dancers of all levels can strive to achieve their ultimate potential. We inspire our students to develop a sense of self-worth and to strengthen their abilities through discipline and motivational techniques, as well as presenting a genuine love and passion for the artistic world. Our faculty is passionate about their teaching, and proudly serves as positive role models, both in the studio, and in their communities.

Classes Offered:

Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Contemporary, Musical Theatre, Creative Movement & Preschool dance

We provide group and private instruction for students age 3 through adult; all levels.

Preschoolers receive a basic introduction to ballet, tap, and jazz, and do fun body coordination exercises and motor skills. Through the use of games and props, we begin to develop the children's sense of rhythm and timing and joy of movement.

Combination classes provide beginners with a solid foundation in ballet, tap, and jazz technique. We stress the fundamentals necessary to safely advance in all forms of dance.

Intermediate through advanced students continue their course of study with concentrated classes that are designed to encourage technical excellence and creative growth. These classes utilize technique, terminology, fluidity, presentation, stretch and flexibility.

Visitors welcome; stop by and observe a class today!

Adams Dance Company:

The studio is home to the Adams Dance Company (ADC). The Company consists of highly motivated and talented students who are serious about learning to dance in a professional environment and who desire to perform and compete outside of the annual recital. The company, under the direction of Sarah Robinson, is entering its 8th year, and competes in numerous regional and national performing arts competitions on the east coast.

(Please pardon our appearance; look for our new and improved website coming soon!)
