Yo dave, I just sent a fairly large e-mail to all members. Please let me know if you got yours.
By the way...... Did we really go to Alberta last year?? I want to print the home page prior to the trip. Any chance of an update???
I know how busy we all are, but I did take 6 hours yesterday compiling the highlights of the last three years of video. Anything for the team!

Piet,
I did not receive an Add A Man e-mail as of 8:30 this morning.
I have kind of lost interest in the web page. Few members have access and the links to other sites go bad in a hurry. But it's still a good thing. I will make a quick update and put in a couple of links to the places we will be.

Perhaps the loss of interest is due to the loss of fresh information. I reviewed the whole page last night and it's great. Furthermore, the AAM list includes Dale as the only none e-mail member this year.
I'm convinced the page would make the tour directors job easier and the enthusiasm greater. Let's discuss at length while intoxicated in a hot tub, eh?
I can help. Kinda like the By-Laws perhaps.

Greetings,
I have done a little house cleaning on the web site. Most of the remnants of our ill fated trip to Banff are gone and information about Lake Tahoe and this year's trip has been added. I even added some different music.
The itinerary is posted under this year's trip. If anybody has a problem with this information being made public, holler and I will remove it asap.
I saw a news blip where they were interviewing some gen xer, snowboarder from California, and her catch phrase was:
Don't bail, go big
Yeah right, be sure to tell your wives that's what you're going to do. We're all getting a little older now and we can't be takin the big air like we used to. In fact, one of us just turned 40.
I wonder who,

Based on the clubs reports, I pretty much know what it was like now. my body temperature is 75' now, i better go take a hot shower.

Hell yes you should be worried. Think about it, you already paid for it, and it's in the hands of a little shit that you beat up on a regular schedule for at least 10 years.

Flaps, Air, Meister, Blue Run and Lil' Coop,
The plane leaves at 7:10 so there's no sense getting to the airport >much before 7 and it only takes about 20 minutes to get to the airport from Brighton so we don't need to leave till 6:30. There won't be any traffic.
I am planning to arrive at 6:28. That will give me plenty of time to load my stuff, say hi to everybody, and stock up on road beverages. A quick goodbye to Jane and Dana, repack the luggage to accommodate the late arrivals and we'll be off.
Due to extraordinary circumstances I will be in the area by 4:30. I can even be there sooner. Flaps, can you make a home/office decision and let us know.

The last I heard about a video was that the simplify philosophy had produced a good video with minimal effort. Can't leave well enough alone, eh?

In regards to the comment about making the video simple...
You wouldn't believe how simple this thing is. It's so simple, it's stupid simple. It's simplistically simple. It looks as if a simpleton did it.
Words which are listed in the WordPerfect Thesaurus under simple include:
Backward, barren, basic, callow, childish, common, crude, dense, dull, foolish, guilesss, homespun, ignorant, mere, mindless, naive, plain, primative, retarded, rudimentary, slow, stupid, unadorned, uncomplicated, uncultivated, unsophisticated and unworldly.
WAIT A MINUTE, IT IS SIMPLE!!! I HAVE ACHIEVED THE OBJECTIVE AND AM NOW SELF ACTUALIZED.
(Also included were easy and effortless, but we don't want to talk about that)
See you Thursday

Subject: Return to Indy
Hi All!
Just a note to let you know that I returned safely to Indianapolis after a glorious full day of skiing at Squaw Valley. Of course, Reno Air lost my luggage coming back as well, so I finally got it the next day, but all is intact.
To all you who didn't get to ski Squaw at all, all I can say is that you missed the best day of skiing of the trip! Great conditions, great runs, and NO LIFT LINES!!!! I just about killed myself from exhaustion from going up >and down the lifts and skiing. I lost count of the number of runs done - must have been at least 8 between 3 & 4 pm alone! Glorious! I just continued to follow the sun around the mountain and ended up over at Granite Chief, where there was still untracked powder which hadn't turned to crud yet. Primarily locals skiing on Monday, so the crowd pretty well dispersed by 4:30 pm after the lifts closed. I hung out until 5:45 when my shuttle bus came to pick me up for the Reno Airport.
I really enjoyed skiing with all youse guys, as usual. I'm looking forward to next year's trip already!
ciao!

Smitty,
Your story brings a happy tear to my eye. I think the main theme of this year's trip is that the last day at Squaw was about the best day of skiing in Add A Man history. Glad to hear that you made it home safe and sound.
