Florida Mensa's Young Mensans - Orlando, FL
This group, based in the Orlando area, get
together for game days, field trips, workshops with guest speakers,
social and community service events.
The
Governor’s Summer Program for Gifted and High Ability Students allows outstanding high school students to take courses at sponsoring
public and private colleges and universities in Florida. These classes
provide participating students with learning experiences not available
in their secondary education programs.
HATS stands for High Achieving Talented Students and is a program sponsored by Stetson University. Working in collaboration with the Belin-Blank International Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development at the University of Iowa, Stetson provides a variety of educational opportunities for high achieving Florida students.
The
Florida Association for the Gifted - Supports educationally appropriate programs for gifted students. FLAG publishes an informative quarterly newsletter for members, and hosts an annual state conference featuring nationally recognized consultants in the field.
Florida
Gifted Network is affiliated with the Florida Association of the Gifted. FGN serves
as a resource for parents and others in locating information to assist
in educating and nurturing gifted learners. This group also engages
in advocacy and networking activities to ensure funding for gifted programs
and appropriate educational services for gifted learners.

SENG (Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted) is a nonprofit group
with the mission to support bright, talented, gifted individuals and
