Participate in a real archaeological dig!  The Archaeological and Historical Conservancy (AHC) is a Florida not-for-profit organization dedicated to the investigation and preservation of archaeological sites in Florida and the Bahamas.  Click on this link to find out about projects going on right now.

Florida Humanities Council
For families traveling around Florida, check out the Visit Florida website before you go. The site has fun facts and local history about more than 30 regions of Florida.  Hint:  click on "Fun Things to Do" within each region and they'll show lots of great family activities to do in that area!
